As we understand that the nature of our website is sensitive, we try to minimize the data we collect from your visit.

Comments

When you submit a rating or written review on a review page, we collect the name and review text you provide, the star rating you give, and the avatar icon you choose (a fixed set of icons — there is no image upload or Gravatar involved). To help prevent spam and abuse, we also log your IP address and browser user agent string when you submit a review.

We do not ask for or store your email address anywhere on this site.

Every review is held for moderation before it appears publicly. Once approved, your chosen name, avatar, review text and star rating are visible to other visitors.

Media

Only site administrators can upload images (for example, the screenshots shown on review pages). Visitors cannot upload images to this site.

Cookies

If you rate or review a site, we set a cookie in your browser so we can show your own rating back to you the next time you visit that page. This cookie only stores the rating value itself — never your name or any other personal information — and lasts for one year.

We do not use cookies to remember a name, email address or website, since our review form does not ask for that information.

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed and how long visitors stay). Google Analytics sets its own cookies to collect this information. The data is used in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you. Newsletter & Email Communications

If you choose to subscribe to the Adult VR Guide newsletter, we collect and use your email address to send you newsletters, updates, guides, recommendations and other relevant content related to Adult VR Guide. We process this on the basis of your consent.

We use confirmed opt-in: after you enter your address we send a single email with a confirmation link, and you are only added to the list once you open it. Nothing else is ever sent to an address that has not been confirmed. Alongside your email address we store the date you signed up, the date you confirmed, and the IP address the sign-up came from — together these are our record that consent was given, and when.

How long we keep it. A sign-up that is never confirmed is deleted automatically after 30 days. A confirmed address is kept until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe we keep your address on a suppression list rather than deleting it, for the sole purpose of making sure we do not email you again by mistake.

Your email address is only used for these communications and is not sold or rented to third parties. We may use a third-party email service provider to manage newsletter subscriptions and deliver emails on our behalf. Such providers may process your email address and related delivery information as necessary to provide the service.

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, allowing you to withdraw your consent at any time. After unsubscribing, your email address is no longer used for newsletter communications and is kept only on the suppression list described above.

Once a third-party email service is in use, we may also process basic engagement information, such as whether an email was delivered or opened, and which links were clicked, to improve the relevance and quality of future newsletters. We do not collect this today. If and when we do, this policy will be updated to name the provider and say where it processes your data.

Embedded content from other websites

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Reviews and their metadata (including the IP address and browser user agent logged at submission) are retained indefinitely, primarily to prevent spam and abuse.

This site does not offer visitor accounts or registration, so no personal profile data is stored beyond what is described above.

What rights you have over your data

If you have submitted a review, you can request an exported copy of the personal data we hold about you (your name and review text, as submitted), or request that we delete it. To make a request, please contact us. Since this site has no visitor accounts, these requests are handled manually.

Where your data is sent
